A consortium of Colorado bloggers got together recently and decided that the Flames are the Avs new "main rival". Reasons were varied, although Bertuzzi and Phaneuf get mentioned more than once.
Come to think of it, I assume that Calgary is roundly hated in the NW Division. There's the Oilers - no brainer. Canucks fans have despised the Flames for years, especially after the upset in '04. And I know the Wild faithful aren't fond of the local boys; Iginla routinely feasts on their flesh.
Is it an insult or a compliment to be the most hated team in a division?
